Cancellations & Insurance
When you book your stay with us you are entering into a legally binding contract. Cancelled bookings cause financial loss to the House, as they often cannot be re-filled. In the event of a booking cancellation the following charges will apply:
- One month or more, deposit plus 25% of remaining charges;
- One week's notice, deposit plus 50% of remaining charges;
- Under one week's notice, deposit plus all remaining charges.
With the above in mind we have arranged a competitive insurance package to cover your booking. If you would like information about this insurance cover please ask at the time of arranging your booking - we will also include this information with your confirmation letter. Abbey House feels it is very important that you are adequately protected against unforeseen eventualities, both prior to your stay and during it. We strongly recommend that you read the information and seriously consider taking insurance.
