Events
Abbey House is a perfect venue for small events. There are 2 large rooms and one slightly smaller that can cater for about 50 people. With 26 bedrooms this means that an important anniversary or family event can be hosted here with everyone under one roof. The Abbey House cooks have built up an excellent reputation for serving beautiful, tasty, home-made dishes for a seated meal or a buffet. We pay attention to all the little details so that you and your guests will feel at home.
Functions
Occasionally Abbey House can host special functions. These tend to be birthdays, anniversaries and weddings. However as most weekends are booked by groups we cannot guarantee a Saturday function. Our catering is a high standard and menus will be created to suit the occasion - some samples are given below.
The house is licensed to serve alcohol. Please contact us in good time if you wish to discuss a function.
Exhibitions
The house and/or gardens may be used as an exhibition venue at certain times. If you are interested in holding an exhibition or product launch please contact us.
